Soccer @ Hurricane

It's not fun to play in Hurricane.  It's not just that it's a drive to get there, it's cold and windy, they don't have many places to grab food for the girls after the game. But we were able to beat them, on their senior night, so it was a good outcome.

Drive home

These are some views from Bryan's drive home from Mesquite.  The sky has been so beautiful lately.

Soccer against Cedar

It is time for redemption against Cedar.  Our girls don't play well on their grass and they don't play well on our turf so it all evens out.  But the game was a good one and the view was beautiful.

Courtney's BeReal that day was between games.

Morning sky

I have been going on walks in the morning and the sky has been beautiful! We live in a beautiful area.

Salt to Saint bike relay

Bryan was invited to participate in the Salt to Saint bike relay with some other guys from our neighborhood.  He was excited.  Bryan had to work so he met the guys after they had started the relay.  It was a 24-hour relay and one of the legs Bryan had to do was at night in the cold.  He said it was the best ride he has ever done because it was quiet, the stars were bright, and he was just going down the road by himself.  One of the guys had a motorhome so they stayed in that and were able to sleep when they weren't on the bike or helping out.  Next time they do it, they are going to be a little more organized with their sleeping and driving schedules. It was a great experience and I'm so glad he got to do it.

Courtney and I went to Bloomington to watch the last of the race.  Bryan was the one crossing the finish line.  But we missed it by about 2 minutes!  Ugh.

Luckily, one of the other guys filmed the finish so we could see it.

Soccer pics

Here are some pictures that were posted by the administration at Snow Canyon High School.  I thought they were fun.

Ethan's job

Ethan works at the Continuing Education call center on BYU campus.  He works 3 hours a day, Monday through Friday, answering the phones to help people who are registering for Continuing Education classes (Education Week, FSY, EFY, etc.).  It is not very busy so he has been able to get his homework done during the time he is at work.

Today, they needed someone to sit at the info desk in the lobby so Ethan volunteered.  The computer didn't have the software they needed to answer the phones, so he just sat there and directed one or two people who came in the door.  Not a bad job for someone who wants to get their homework done.

Soccer against Desert Hills

Once again, we are playing Desert Hills and it was a tough game.  They are a good team but ours was better.

Yes, she is pigeontoed. Sometimes we catch a picture that shows it really badly.  This is one of those times.

It was such a beautiful night that I had to take a picture.

I also took a selfie because my hair was working that day. haha!

Soccer @ Dixie

Again, it's a chippy game against Dixie High.  The girls really like to win against Dixie and they did a great job this season! It is fun to watch them when they are really invested in winning the game.

Soccer @ Pine View

The first away game for the soccer team was at Pine View.  It was a hot one but they did great.

Courtney kicked a field goal, too bad it's not football.  But she had fun with it.

Homecoming parade

Homecoming parade! Courtney is on the right standing up.  They had fun on the float, throwing candy to the kids.

Utah Honor Flight

My dad was chosen to go on the Utah Honor Flight and he took Ethan with him.  They flew out early Tuesday morning and were back late Wednesday night.  They went to all the places in DC that honor veterans, had a banquet, saw the sights, and talked to a lot of people.  It was fun to see the pictures and hear their stories.  I'm so glad Ethan got the opportunity to go with my dad and make those memories.  Here are some pictures from their trip.

When they returned home, we went to the SLC airport to welcome them.  There were so many people there to honor the vets and it was so cool.
