I was left in charge of a YW activity so I decided we should do a walk to the temple. If you start at Dixie Rock it's only about 1 1/2 miles downhill to get to the temple. It's actually a pretty straight shot. We parked the car at Dixie Rock and Bryan met us at the temple. He took Courtney back up to get the van so we could drive all the girls home. It was a great activity.

Courtney needed new hiking boots and, after some looking, she decided to get Hoka hiking shoes. She was pretty excited about them. She got the brightest ones she could find and she loves them!

We went on another hike. We hadn't been on this hike before even though it is close to Dixie Rock. I had seen people there before but hadn't been on the trail before. The view was really nice and there weren't many people on the trail with us. I enjoy exploring St George.

Bryan took Courtney to The Tilted Kiln to paint plates. Courtney liked it so much with me that she wanted to do it with him too. And Bryan wanted to have fun with her. Their plates turned out really well.

Since the weather is getting warmer, Courtney wanted to go on a hike. We decided we want to go on hikes each weekend to get out. For our first hike, we decided to go out near Red Cliffs.

Courtney and Hayley decided they would walk in the SCHS graduation ceremony. We ordered the rented robes and they came. They weren't quite what we thought they would be. Courtney was not thrilled. They are quite large and have big shoulder pads. I made her try them on for me so I could get pictures.

Courtney's soccer game was FREEZING! I have learned, after all these years, to bring a sleeping bag to stay warm. Other parents bring propane heaters but I think my way is easier. I'm sure Courtney isn't happy to see me bundled up on the sideline, but I'm warm.
