Courtney's Chemistry class for this semester is "Culinary Chemistry" which I think would be so much fun but she isn't a huge fan of. They popped popcorn one day, made butter another, were assigned to make a gravy or sauce for homework, and made freezer jam. I don't know what class would be more fun than that...although they weren't allowed to eat the popcorn, the butter smelled "weird", and Courtney wasn't sure how sanitary the beakers were when they made freezer jam.
But she is learning!
This is her freezer jam which we did not eat because we weren't sure how sanitary everything was when she made it in the lab. But I'm sure it worked out beautifully.
