Snow, Snow and More Snow!

We have had a crazy year for snow in St. George.  We were sitting in our living room when we heard noises outside.  Ethan thought it was a bunch of "hoodlums" so we went and looked out to see if we could catch them, We couldn't believe it when we saw this...


The kids were so excited and went outside to play around.

The white stuff is fun when it only stays around for a day or so.

Preference

Ethan came out of Success on Wednesday to see soda bottle on his car.  He thought someone was a big jerk to put trash on his car...until he picked it up.

Yup. "Wanta go to preference? Sierra"

This was Wednesday and Preference was Saturday.  He was excited to be asked and didn't want to delay, so I asked him how he wanted to answer.  He said "The same way Jenna answered me for Prom."  So while I was running errands, I got a pizza with "YES" written in pepperoni.

We found out where she lives and Courtney doorbell ditched the pizza for Ethan.  Courtney is a fast runner so we figured she would be the best at it.  We parked the car a little down the street, left the van door open, and then Courtney ran and got in while I drove off!  It was so fun!

About 10 minutes later, the girl had texted Ethan with their plan.  He was amazed at how organized the girls are at planning a date.  They have a plan, a timeline, a backup plan, a backup timeline, pictures arranged, and everything!  We went to buy a tie because it is Church dress and he wanted his tie to match her dress.

So fun!

Study position

This, or another position close to it, is Ethan's study position.  He has his textbook on his lap, usually his hands are on the keyboard, his forehead is on the table, and he is typing away on his Chromebook while reading his textbook.  Yup.  He works best when he isn't watching what he is doing.

Oh, and he usually has headphones in his ears too.

Yup.  This is how I feel!  Poor Ethan!

Snow!

It has been really cold and on Sunday night it snowed!!

We were in the house when we could hear people yelling outside.  Ethan looked out and said there were "hooligans" playing around the CRX.  I got alarmed and opened the door to see SNOW!  The neighbors were having a snowball fight and getting the snow off the cars to make their snowballs.

Courtney had to go out and play in it.

It was gone the next morning but she had fun while it was out there.

Soccer Tournament

Courtney soccer team was in the Sevens Tournament (apparently, all the good soccer players wear the number 7 so there is a soccer team here that is called Sevens).  It was cold, rainy, and windy.  The girls lost two of the three games they played.  They won their last game with a score of 4-1. But they had a lot of fun being together and the parents froze!

English award

Ethan got an award at Success Academy for English 2010.  He was the only boy in the Junior class to get it so I was impressed.  He is good at writing so I am not surprised.
