The soccer hoodies came and Courtney is thrilled!! They turned out really great. Now the girls can show their team spirit...for a week or so until it's too hot for a hoodie. ;)

Baby Cousin Fun
This cutie and her parents were in St. George last weekend so we got to see them. We were going to a Snow Canyon baseball game so they met us there. Clara is a doll and it was fun to watch the kids play with her. She is so smilie that they have a lot of fun with her. Ethan isn't as scared to hold a baby anymore but he still gets a bit nervous.
Our Readers
I love that this was the scene at our house during spring break. Yes, they are both quietly sitting on the couch reading books. Our house was so peaceful!!!
Sunglasses
Since Courtney now has contacts she can wear sunglasses and see! So we went to the dollar store to find some she liked. I think she picked some cute ones.
The Worm!
We were at a Snow Canyon baseball game and Courtney decided to show us her worm skills. Yes, it was as funny as it sounds. Here is the video to prove how awesome she is at the worm....
Pizazz Girls
At the Jr. All-Starzz party the girls were dancing around and asked me to take video of them. I wanted to post them so Courtney could see them.
Grandma's Veil
We were at my parents house going through their wedding stuff...their 50th anniversary is in a couple of weeks....and we found the box with my mom's veil in it. Courtney put it on. I thought it held up really well for being 50 years old. We also pulled out her wedding dress to look at it and it wasn't yellowed at all. What fun!!
Galaxy Soccer
Courtney's soccer team has car decals. Our neighbor does this so the coach had me order a bunch of them and we put them on the van and the truck. We are proud of our Galaxy FC soccer girl!
Fishing with Grandpa
During Spring Break Grandpa Oman took Ethan fishing at Enterprise. They had great luck and caught 4 large fish (2 each). When they came back to our house they had to gut them...in my kitchen sink. Ethan can gut the fish by himself but the fish were sliding all over the counter...one even fell on the floor. It was crazy with all these guts all over the place but he got the job done. I do not gut fish so it's nice that Ethan is willing to do it.

Here is the video of him gutting a fish:

My New Toy
I wanted a rototiller for my birthday. Maybe it was a strange request but it's what I wanted. Bryan's parents pitched in. It took me a couple of months to do research and find one that I wanted and thought would do a good job. I finally bought one and was so excited to get working in the dirt. We got the garden spot ready in 1/4 of the time and the garden is planted. I am very happy with my birthday present.
Courtney has Contacts!
Since the doctor told Courtney that she didn't need her bifocals anymore she has struggled with wearing her glasses. They also get in the way when she dances and plays soccer so we decided to let her try contacts....she LOVES them! I think the doctor was a little nervous because she looks a lot younger than she is because she is so small. But she was ready and is able to take care of them. She has daily contacts so she just throws them away every night. She doesn't have to clean them or anything which cuts down on problems.
It's been a bit of a rough go trying to figure out how to get them in each morning but she is getting really good at it. She is so happy being able to see all the time. She says she didn't realize how badly she was seeing because she wasn't wearing her glasses. She is one happy girl!

Ethan's Choir Concert
Ethan had a patriotic choir concert. He wasn't very excited about it but we were excited to watch him sing. Courtney had a soccer game so Bryan took care of her while I took care of getting Ethan to the Tabernacle on time for the concert. There were a lot of people there so I was happy I got there so early and saved seats. They were turning people away because it was max capacity in the building.
Ethan is on the back row, third boy from the left.
Bryan took a video of one of the songs and Ethan wasn't happy with the hand gestures and the dance steps his teacher had them do. Poor guy! But it was pretty hilarious for us to watch. hehehe!

Ping Pong Table
I always wanted a ping pong table when I was a kid. I have been saving money and watching sales and decided I was going to buy one. It was a massive ordeal getting it home. I asked the man at the store to measure the table so we could make sure it would fit in Bryan's truck but he said "I have never seen a truck this ping pong table wouldn't fit in." Well, he now has because it would't fit in the truck. We ended up unboxing the table, pulling up one side of the camper shell and then tying things together. It was a mess but I got the table home.
Bryan, Ethan, Courtney and I spent the next few days putting it together. But once it was together we had a lot of fun playing on it. The kids are loving it. Now we just need to finish our basement. ;)

Provo City Center Temple Open House
I really, really wanted to go to the open house of the Provo City Center Temple. Each time I would get online to get tickets, they were all out. They released more tickets and when I got on, they were all out. I was really frustrated. At presidency meeting in February, my counselor told me they save a certain amount of tickets for people who call in. So I decided to try and....I was able to get 4 tickets on a Saturday really easily. I was so excited. But it ended up being a crazy Saturday for us to go to Provo.
We left right after school Friday night. We drove to Provo and Ethan and I did baptisms in the Provo Temple while Bryan and Courtney went to a BYU volleyball game. Ethan and I have been really spoiled by the St. George Temple. We go twice a month on Tuesdays at 4:35 p.m. Usually we are the only ones there, or close to it, so we are in and out in 20-30 minutes! When we went into the Provo Temple I asked how long it would be. The man told me that they "aren't busy at all...it will only take about 1 1/2 hours." I about died. We ended up just doing baptisms because it would have been another hour for us to do confirmations also. But it was a good experience to be in the temple.
We stayed the night at the Orem location of Hotel Pack (Andrew and Jessica's). It was really late when we got there but it was fun to talk to them and see how things are going for them.
Saturday morning we woke up, ate breakfast and then took off for the Provo City Center Temple. I knew it was going to be the crowded but I had no idea how crowded it was going to be. We had tickets for 10:15 but we didn't get into the temple until around 11:30-ish. It was like Disneyland on crack. CRAZY!
Here we are waiting....

It was a very beautiful temple. I couldn't figure out where I was most of the time, but Bryan knew exactly which direction we were headed. He is crazy that way!

Courtney absolutely HATES the booties they have you wear when at an open house. It is the biggest point of contention because they itch, feel weird, etc. Poor girl. She did a great job this time with them though.

When we finished up at the temple, we went to David and Jenny's house to say hello. We didn't have a lot of time but we got to see them. It took a lot longer at the temple than we had anticipated so we didn't get time to go to the BYU bookstore, which made Ethan REALLY sad.
Courtney had a dance performance at Dixie State at 4:30 so, while Bryan drove, Courtney changed her clothes in the back of the van and then I did her hair/makeup. You can imagine how much fun Bryan had while I was doing her makeup. He would "accidentally" swerve right when I was trying to put her mascara on. It was actually hilarious!
Our selfie in the back of the van.

Courtney danced at the girls basketball game and then that night at the boys basketball game, so it was a long day! But we are so glad we went to the open house.

Scout Campout
Bryan and Ethan went on a scout camp out to Cedar Pocket. They had tin foil dinners, which I have gotten pretty good at making, if I do say so myself! Then they played games, hung out, slept, went hiking, played sharks and minnows and then came home. They had a great time, as always.
Jr. All-Starzz Party
Every month Courtney had a team building party with the Jr. All-Starzz (her dance group). At least it is supposed to be every month. Courtney's turn was in February and she was supposed to plan it with another girl on the team. The only day we could do it was a Friday afternoon so we invited the other 10 girls, made a reservation at Dixie Bowl, bought Skittles and were all set up to play Skittle Bowling!
It was pretty hilarious because Courtney was the only one who had played Skittle bowling before. Some of the girls were a little timid at first and thought it was "dumb" but once they started bowling it was pretty obvious that they were having fun.
Courtney bowling between her legs...
The final scores. Courtney is the "C" on the right hand screen. For bowling between their legs, with the opposite arm, backward and twirling before throwing the ball....I don't think they did too badly!
It took us about 45 minutes for them to bowl and then we had pizza and it was time to go. I think they all enjoyed it and it was an easy party to plan.

Courtney's Haircut
Courtney's hair needed some help so I called a girl who grew up in our ward who is attending hair school. She said she could do a deep conditioning treatment on Courtney's hair, give her a haircut and curl her hair. So we made an appointment and went across town to have Courtney's hair done.
It took a while because the deep conditioner had to sit on her hair for 30 minutes, but the results are so nice. Courtney was so happy! We couldn't believe how shiny and light her hair looked after it was done.
