Ethan's BMX bike

A fight happens at our house every time Ethan wants to ride his bike with his friends.  He doesn't want to ride his nice mountain bike to the grocery store so he will take Courtney's bike (which used to be his bike).  She will throw a fit because he doesn't ask her and he doesn't want to ride around with a basket on the front handlebars so he will take it off.  Courtney doesn't feel like she has a bike of her own because he keeps taking it and she gets really upset.

The answer:  Ethan spent a couple of weeks dog sitting for people in the neighborhood who were going out of town.  He scoured the internet for deals on a BMX bike and then bought one.  Now, he has a bike to ride around and doesn't have to bother Courtney anymore.

I admit, I don't get the appear of a BMX bike because it is tiny!  It's a bike you really need to stand up on to ride.  But he loves it and now has a bike to ride around with his friends so Courtney is happy too.
