On August 12th, my cousin, Wayne Conover, passed away unexpectedly. His funeral was in Fremont, CA, so I made a 1-day trip out to be with my family for the funeral. It was a long day but I was so glad that I was there to see everyone and to honor Wayne.
I hadn't flown on Virgin America before and it was a trip. When we boarded they had music playing and mood lighting. It was crazy but a great flight.
I rented a car and stopped by quickly to see David and Jenny in their new place. It was fun to see them. The car I rented was super small but fun to drive.
Like I said, it was a very fast trip. I flew out Saturday morning and back Saturday afternoon. But the memorial service was very nice.
