This afternoon I went back to Ethan's class to help out with a Thanksgiving craft. His teacher sent home the example and then I had moms help me get all the supplies. Last night I put the string on the turkeys and got everything ready to go. Today we helped the kids (we did the glue gun while they picked out the supplies) put their turkeys together. When you get the sponge wet, grab the string with the sponge and then jerk downward on the string...it makes a gobble sound (although it's more like a duck sound than a turkey, but whatever). The kids loved it and Ethan was so proud of his turkey. Here is Ethan's turkey and Ethan with his friend Brennon.
