1st Day of School!

Ethan started school on Thursday. He is in Mrs. Magnus' 2nd grade class at Santa Clara Elementary. He has 2 other boys in our ward in his class. We went school shopping last week and got all his school supplies and clothes. When we were looking for a backpack he couldn't find one that he really liked so we kept looking and looking. Finally he found one that he "just had" to have. It was a BYU backpack and it really cute!

He was a bit nervous for the 1st day but he did a great job and loved it. He is so excited to be learning about everything this year. We went to Back-to-School night last night and met his teacher. She is very nice and has been doing this for 16 years (I think) so I feel like he is in good hands. And he loves that his only homework is to read 20 minutes each night!
