Legoland

We got to Kristina and Mark's house late on Friday night (it's about a 6 hour drive to Garden Grove from Ivins). The next morning we woke up and got ready for Legoland. It's about an hour drive from their house so we took off in time to get there when the park opened. Ethan had some free passes so the kids got in free, bonus!!

We went on boat rides, on roller coasters, explored through the mini creation world and had a great time.

No, this next photo isn't upside down...we were upside down! It was a crazy insane ride that Ethan wanted to go on. When we first saw the ride (it's new so we hadn't seen it before) we all though the people on it were crazy!! After riding a few roller coasters, Ethan decided he wanted to go on it. Courtney and Bryan weren't about to try it so I went with him. I enjoy things like that.

It was a large arm-like mechanism that you are strapped into and it throws you all over the place, up and down, back and forth, upside down and all around. You get to choose how crazy your ride is on a scale from 1 to 5. Ethan wanted the craziest, which flings you all over the place and around and around. I convinced him to take a level 4 instead of 5, seeing as it was his first time.

It was insane! We were whipped all over the place. I laughed and actually thought it was pretty fun but Ethan wanted off and wasn't too impressed. I guess any ride that won't let you wear any kinds of piercings or glasses is one he should beware of. But he did it and it was of his own free will!
The park closed at 5 p.m., so a little before that we headed to the gift shop to buy something. Courtney had been complaining of a tummy ache for a few hours so when she asked me to take her to the bathroom I wasn't too surprised. But the minute she took a look at the toilet she lost it and threw up (into the toilet). She was sick. she threw up 2 more times on the way back to Kristina's and then once more during the night. But she woke up at about 4 a.m. and told me that she felt "fantastic" and that she doesn't think she will ever need to throw up again "in my entire life!" There was a weird 12 hour bug going around the school before Spring Break and she caught it. But she was fine on Sunday.
