Newport Beach

Sunday morning we woke up and Courtney was feeling fine. So we went to Church with Mark and Kristina. Courtney was a bit nervous so she went to Ethan's class with him, which turned out well because they got brownies and some other treats!! Score. My kids are going to love going to other wards now because they think they will always get treats!

After lunch, we drove to Newport Beach where we met up with my parents who were also in California on a vacation. We weren't going swimming because it was Sunday but they got to wade in the water and Ethan was soaked by the time we left. We walked on the pier and there was a seal that Ethan took a ton of pictures of.

After we were finished hanging out we went back to Kristina's house for some BBQ ribs. Mark makes really excellent BBQ ribs that Bryan loves so they always make it when we come. Unfortunately, Mark had to work in the afternoon. He taught Bryan had to do everything and then Bryan grilled the ribs. We saved some for Mark but it was a bummer that he didn't get to eat them hot with us.
