PDT End of the Year Review

It was once again time for Courtney's PDT End of the Year Review.  This is old hat for us.

Jenny, who used to be our neighbor, brought Courtney some flowers and a gift because Jenny wasn't going to be able to make it.

Courtney got dressed up and we took some pictures at home,

Yes, this is the same dress she wears every year.  Someone in the neighborhood gave it to us when she was 3 or 4 and I altered it so she could wear it each year.  I think we will get a couple more years out of it and she looks beautiful each year.

When we got to Dixie High, we took pictures before Bryan and Courtney had to line up for the introductions.

They were introduced and then took their spot.

They had the traditional daddy/daughter dance.  I love this part because it's fun to see them dancing and watch Bryan twirl Courtney.

I helped Courtney change from her dress and then it started.  The first dance was the 6th-12th grade class lyrical dance.

"Don't let me down":

Time to change and then they had the Jr. All Starzz lyrical dance. Courtney is in the front on the right.

Change time again and then they had the jazz dance.  This is the routine that they have been doing all year at the half time shows. Courtney is in the Jr. All Starrz class so she had the first part of the jazz dance and had to climb under the bleachers to change into her other costume.

Jr. All Starzz:

6th-12th grade:

Another quick change and they had the military dance for the 6th-12th grade class.  Courtney is on the 3rd row, 2nd from the left with her head down.

Lastly, it was time to change for the Jr. All Starzz character dance.  It was cute. (I made their aprons.)

Awards were given out at the end.  Courtney was given a medal for being a 7 year member.

Then we were done for the year.  Congrats Courtney on a great dance year!!

To celebrate, we went to Iceberg for some "mini" shakes.  As you can see, they are HUGE!
